The kind that keeps the  G  blues away.
There's not a cloud  D  in the sky, 
It's the kind of day that  G  makes you high.


 G The snows all gone and the  D  grass is turning green,
Not quite summer but  C  sure is  G spring.
I jumped in my old Chevy and  D went for a ride. 
With my girl sitting  C  by my  G side.

 G I know an old backroad where  D  we can go,
It's a special place where we're  C all a G lone.
Take some cold beers, a bottle of  D  wine and food,
Listening to country music  C  until  G  noon.
